But even if I fall in love again, it could never be the same way that I loved you.

I have so much of you in my heart.
— John Keats (via missinyouiskillingme)
They say you don’t get over someone until you find someone or something better. As humans, we don’t deal well with emptiness. Any empty space must be filled. Immediately. The pain of emptiness is too strong. It compels the victim to fill that place. A single moment with that empty spot causes excruciating pain. That’s why we run from distraction to distraction—and from attachment to attachment.

I’m falling in love with my job.

So tonight was the first time the client visited us together with the CEO and the other big boss. Now I can definitely say that I love my job and I’m gonna stay here the longest.

(We got free make-up from Michelle Phan. Yay!)

'Yang mga kamay na yan, yan ang gustong gusto kong hawakan.

'Yang pusong yan, yan ang gustong gusto kong makuha.

Yang ngiting yan, yan ang gustong gusto kong makita.

Yang matang yan, diyan ko gustong makita ang mukha ko pag-gising ko tuwing umaga.

The thing about missing someone is that it tears you up inside. It creates a void within you that always wants to be filled with the presence of that person. It’s not even considerate enough. It doesn’t want memories.

It wants the physical presence of the person you miss.

This time, I won’t forget him, because I couldn’t ever forgive him — for breaking my heart twice.

Until you heal the wounds of your past, you are going to bleed. You can bandage the bleeding with food, with alcohol, with drugs, with work, with cigarettes, with sex; But eventually, it will all ooze through and stain your life. You must find the strength to open the wounds, Stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories and make peace with them.

There are two types of waiting. There’s the the waiting you do for something you know is coming, sooner or later—like waiting for the 6:28 train, or the school bus, or a party where a certain handsome boy might be. And then there’s the waiting for something you don’t know is coming. You don’t even know what it is exactly, but you’re hoping for it. You’re imagining it and living your life for it. That’s the kind of waiting that makes a fist in your heart.

words i’ve always wanted to hear

One day. Soon.

This is not me getting even.
This is me showing you
that you made a mistake
when you let go of me.
